Join us at Science Gallery London for a creative workshop specifically for medical students, with artist Marysa Dowling.

This event is a collaboration between Arts & Health Hub and King's Undergraduate Medical Education in the Community (KUMEC), and is a part of a series of events aimed at medical practitioners and medical students focused on practitioner mental health, taking place during the The Art of Care exhibition on at Science Gallery London (22nd June - 31st July). This event is generously funded by the Louise Tebboth Foundation.

About the Workshop.

Marysa's 'Paper Gifts' project is a poignant reminder of how significant small actions can be in fostering human connection and communication with others. Through simple acts of creating and sharing, this session aims to alleviate stress and create connection for those participating.

You will be supported to create delicate paper representations of objects that hold personal significance to you. These paper creations will then be photographed, and several images printed during the session, which can be shared with others in the session, inviting others to participate and exchange their own paper gift photographs and stories.

The process of making these paper gifts together provides a unique opportunity for participants to explore connection and kindness through these simple creative acts of using paper and photography.
